About us
We are two young girls from Norway who are going to Madagascar for 6 months. We will live and work at the Shalom Center in Mahajanga. Through this blog we will share our experiences during this journey. We are traveling with Hald International Center and are representing FK Norway and The Norwegian Mission Society (NMS).

Helene:
Im 18 years old and come from Kristiansand. I just finished high school and in my gap year I will be going to Madagascar because I don't know what I want to study yet! I spent a year of high school abroad, which is one of the reasons why I chose to travel this year. I hope to learn a lot this year and hopefully figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life.

I'm a 20 year old girl from Trondheim. I'm adopted from China for those who might wonder why I don't look Norwegian. I really like trying new things, which I expect this year is going to full of! I am really looking forward for whats a head of me and I am sure there will be a lot of ups and downs, but those are all a part of the experience.
